Dave Goelz

Dave began his technology career as an Account Manager with CompuServe Network Services in the mid-1990s, subsequently holding several leadership roles as the organization evolved. In 2019, he joined CVS Health/Aetna as a Senior Program Manager. By 2023, having given his life to Christ, Dave had become actively involved with Jericho’s Light Club, where he identified a need for providing essential outdoor equipment to the homeless community in Franklinton. Responding to this initiative, he founded Operation Goliath, LLC in late 2024 to support that mission. Dave joined the Board of Jericho’s Light Club in 2025 and now leads its outdoor equipment outreach while serving as Director of Technology. He is recognized for his results-driven leadership style, entrepreneurial mindset, and commitment to advancing ministry objectives through innovative solutions.

Don Ivers

Don Ivers serves as a board member of Jericho’s Light Club, bringing a lifelong commitment to faith, service and community leadership. He is retired from financial services and has served on the Grove City Vineyard Church council as an elder for more than 32 years. Don and his wife, Kathy, have raised two children, both adults with amazing spouses, and are proud grandparents to one amazing grandson. Don began serving at Jericho’s Light Club in 2021 and is passionate about supporting its mission and impact.

Royal E. Schultz

Royal is a compassionate pastor and administrator with a penchant for a bit of silliness: keeping things kind-hearted but never too serious. As the director and spiritual leader of Jericho’s Light Club, he is dedicated to expanding the organization’s mission and is committed to serving individuals who are marginalized within the community. He has been involved with Jericho’s Light Club since 2009. Royal has been a dedicated member of Redeemer’s Church for more than two decades. He is part of the Prayer and Prophetic Ministry team and is deeply passionate about all aspects of God and His Word..

Facilities Director

Burton L. Smith

Burt Smith serves on the board of Jericho’s Light Club and oversees facilities and maintenance. He brings over 50 years of experience as a boilermaker and president of a family-owned company. Burt has been involved with Jericho’s Light Club for over four years and is a member of Grove City Christian Fellowship. He also spent over 18 years serving in men’s prison ministry under the umbrella of Promise Keepers and is passionate about using his skills and experience to serve Jesus and supports ministry through faithful, behind-the-scenes service..

Christine Smith

Christine Smith brings over 27 years of experience in school food service to her role as Food Service Coordinator for Jericho’s Light Club. This includes serving as Assistant Food Service Director for South-Western City Schools. She has volunteered with children and church ministries for many years and has been involved with Jericho’s Light Club for over four years. Christine is a member of Grove City Vineyard Christian Fellowship and is passionate about serving others through practical care and hospitality, guided by her love for Jesus and her desire to reflect His heart through service..

Deputy Administrator

Renee Taylor

Renee Taylor retired from her role as an account manager at Wells Fargo in 2018. She is the mother of one son and has been actively engaged in her community through volunteer work. Renee began volunteering at Jericho’s Light Club 14 years ago and has served as a board member for the majority of that time. Her background in supporting individuals experiencing homelessness dates back to her childhood, working alongside her grandparents from the age of six. In 1996, after leaving Arizona and her involvement with the Phoenix Gospel Mission, she relocated to Columbus. There, she connected with Jericho’s Light Club, which provided her with a renewed sense of belonging. Renee has a deep understanding of the challenges faced by disenfranchised populations and is dedicated to serving others with compassion.
