Terms and Conditions for Volunteers

To the best of my knowledge, the information contained in my application is complete and accurate. I understand that providing false information is grounds for not choosing me for a volunteer position and also for discharge if I have already been chosen.

I authorize any person or organization, whether identified or not on this application to provide any necessary and relevant information regarding my previous employment, education, credit history, driving record, criminal confiscation record, sexual offender registry or other data about my qualifications for my volunteering. I also authorize One Way Street Ministries, Inc. dba Jericho’s Light Club (Jericho’s Light Club) to request and receive such information.

If chosen, I agree to be bound by any and all applicable policies and procedures developed by Jericho’s Light Club, including but not limited to its Policy and Procedure Concerning Sexual Misconduct and Convicted Sex Offender Policy. I understand that these may be changed, withdrawn, added to or interpreted at any time by Jericho’s Light Club at their sole discretion and without any prior notice to me.

I understand that my volunteer service is considered “at-will” and may be terminated, or any offer or acceptance of volunteer service withdrawn at any time, with or without cause and with or without prior notice at the option of Jericho’s Light Club or myself. Nothing contained in this application or in pre-volunteering communication is intended to or creates a contract between myself and Jericho’s Light Club for volunteer service (or the providing of any benefit).

I understand that Jericho’s Light Club and its designated agents and representatives may conduct a comprehensive review of my background causing a consumer report and/or an investigative consumer report to be generated for volunteer purposes at my expense.

I have read and understood the above provisions. I have received a copy of Jericho’s Light Club’s Policy and Procedures for Safe Sanctuary Standards against sexual exploitation and abuse.
